Educate Your Audience… Frequently!
A sure sign that you are in trouble with a customer, or your co-workers, is when you come to the realization that they truly do not understand what you are trying to tell them. By its very nature, IT work is very technical, filled with jargon and TLA’s (Three Letter Acronyms), and routinely deals with complex subject matter. Changing your DNS and IP information via script
As a consultant, I frequently move my laptop between networks. Most of the time leaving everything set to ‘automatic’ e.g. using DHCP to configure all of my lan settings at boot, works fine. Let the learning begin!
Mine that is! Blogs have been a fantastic resource for me over the years. This blog will be my small effort to pay back some of the karma I have gathered in my travels.
