Geeks With Blogs
Brian Scarbeau Insights from a seasoned Computer Science Trainer March 2006 Entries
So what do you call a couple hundred geeks meeting on a Saturday?
A code camp! That's what was going on yesterday at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. This Microsoft event brings out developers from around the state to meet for a day and just talk about technology. There were several tracks to choose from and plenty of time to mingle with colleagues during the day and at night if you wanted. I had an opportunity to speak during one of the tracks on dotnetnukes modules. It was a lot of fun for me to do this. More importantly was the fact that I met ......

Orlando .NET CodeCamp- Saturday, March 25th

So today is March 2nd and the new ultra mobile PC codename Origami from Microsoft is suppose to be announced but according to their official/unofficial site at http://www.origamiproject.c... more information is coming on Thursday, March 9th. It's always nice to anticipate something that's geeky and the competition is heating up for this type of device. According to different sites, these devices can play back music, connect to WiFi networks (and possibly Bluetooth devices), and has enough power ......
