yeah, i wasn't sure of the motive behind it either. one co-worker mentioned that they thought it was good "forward-thinking" on ebay's part.

apparently they believe ebay is just trying to make itself a better package for an Microsoft buyout.

i used skype for a bit and it is a great little internet phone package for the price.

I'm pretty sure I like Microsoft more than most folks I know, but I still shudder at the thought of MS Ebay. I hope that's not the reason.
