Chris G. Williams Beware: I mix tech and personal interests here.

After an excellent Thanksgiving, I find myself back on the road. I'm not in Texas at the moment though. I'm currently teaching ASP.NET at the AUM (Auburn University Montgomery) Technacenter. This is a nice town, with a surprising amount of stuff to do. Turns out (according to the folks I spoke to) Montgomery is also one of the top 3 cities in terms of Tech Jobs. Who knew?

The trip was nice, my car stereo plays MP3s so I've been listening to the Eragon audiobook before the movie comes out. So far, I'm really enjoying it. I catch a little bit each day at lunch too, and should finish it by the time I get home (six hour drive.)

Anyway, I'll be here the remainder of the week, driving home on Friday for about a day and a half and then flying to Minneapolis for 4 days to teach (and hopefully hit the casino.)

After I return from Minneapolis, I drive to Atlanta the next day for our company Christmas Party and then I'll have a couple days at home before resuming my weekly trips to Texas.

Somewhere in all of that, I'll be taking a couple days off for Christmas and then my birthday is in January.

Speaking of my birthday, thanks to American Airlines being such a major suckfest, I'm fortunate enough to have enough airfare vouchers to fly two of my closest friends to South Carolina for a 4 day weekend of hanging out at Reality Check, game coding, pub visits and serious xbox 360 time. Happy Birthday to me!!

This "clingermangw" guy seems hot. I can't wait to meet him!

Glad to hear you're doing ok. Looking forward to January. I'd better sleep for a week before so that I can keep up with you young whipper snappers.

Um...I'm confused...why did you link to George's blog? I did mean to link to my blog right? RIGHT?! What about all those things you whispered in my ear back at Tech Ed 2005? Or was that all just PILLOW TALK?!

LOL...I know you would, but I'm just kidding with ya. And really...we're not THAT far away...its not like we're in some other far away country. OK, well maybe we are in a country that's somewhat far, but its only an hour to the North Dakota border (you all do know that North Dakota is a state right? I can totally see you guys treating it like we treat Saskatchewan).

I don't know if I'll make it to Tech Ed. I'm pushing to go to Dev Teach in May (Montreal), and I'm not sure if work will let me go to two conferences back to back. Plus, there's this thing about a 10th wedding anniversary in June that if I trump with Tech Ed I think I might have to just stay in Orlando for good.

Yep, it's that kind of quitting mentality and putting your priorities in the wrong place that let me bump your from your throne on Chris's left hand side.

phsst, 10 year wedding anniversary, no better place to celebrate than Tech Ed.

And that's why I got linked.

(where IS North Dakota, I keep looking on my map, but I can't find it, I see Winterspring, Azshara, Desolace, Durota, Mulgore but no North Dakota)
