In any web development, maintaining consistent alignment in IE is very tedious job where as in Firefox and Chrome are much easier.

However, IE demands all the web page written should follow W3C standards(For Ex: Width:95 will be treated in different way than Width:95px;).When we are dealing with such strict web browser we have to follow all standards. Talking about that, IE browser defaulting to Quirks mode is one of the problem which leads to serious alignment issues.

Basically this issue is caused because of not having a proper DOCTYPE in HTML page.

If an HTML page does not contain proper DOCTYPE in it, then by default IE browser points to Quirks mode, in this mode i am sure that alignment of page will be differed.

This can be avoided by adding a proper DOCTYPE at the top of the page. Here i am providing an DOCTYPE which can be used, this DOCTYPE does not allow IE browser to point to Quirks mode.Instead IE defaults to IE9.

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "">

Sadiq, thanks for writing. From your comment i understand that you are trying to fix alignment of web page in IE Quirks mode.
I am afraid to say that we don't have any special CSS for IE Quirks mode. Neither i haven't used till now, nor i couldn't find it any where in internet.
However, i found this link, please refer it might be helpful. If you have already visited this link then ignore.
